Everybody has a purpose
Today is another opportunity to live a life of virtue.
Mistakes were made yesterday. These same mistakes won’t be made today.
Reading Meditations last night I stumbled across this awesome passage:
Everything is here for a purpose, from horses to vine shoots. What’s suprising about that? Even the sun will tell you, ‘I have a purpose’, and the gods as well. And why were you born? For pleasure? See if that answer will stand up to questioning.
I’ve read a lot on purpose but this one really drives it home. No one is here by mistake, everything on this planet has a purpose. I know what mine is.. so let’s make use of it. Don’t squander my opporunities by dulling my senses.
